The Piney Woods

Ride

More than just a beautiful ride in the shade of the East Texas Piney Woods, Cycle the Sabine is a celebration of community. With attractions and stops throughout Wood and Smith Counties, you'll find more to do than one weekend will allow. Featuring tours of lake Hawkins, Tyler State Park, and the Mineola Nature Preserve, you'll also enjoy a market at Richie's Cafe and live music at Red Rooster that evening!

Cycle the Sabine is four rides of varying length with both race and social options. Ebikes are welcome on the Texas Oak route. The Loblolly and Slash as well as the Sweetgum routes may be doubled for a longer ride without committing to the full 95 mile race route.

Book a stay and enjoy the weekend or just spend a day in the nature and tranquility that is East Texas.
